Recently I wrote about holding a tasting at your own house. Although this is fun if you’re short of money and so are your friends and you want to try up to 50 wines, then the answer is a wine tasting like no other!! If you’re in London and want to learn more about wine, taste different types of wine, the complexities, the simplicities – all of it – then look no further than Roberson Wine Merchant. I spent 4 years going to their tastings and there’s not a day I don’t miss them. Living in Perth, Australia, it’s a bit far to go for a tasting! Over the 4 years I attended over 20 tastings which included their walkabout tastings, en primeur, tastings with winemakers and the Wine School.
